DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
CAREER
I started in the Recorder’s Office in 2007 as a Deputy Recording Clerk and was promoted to Recording Supervisor in 2016. In 2018, I accepted a promotion to Administrative Services Manager where I supervise the staff and oversee the daily operations in both the County Recorder’s Office and Records Management division. Prior to starting my career with the county, I was a licensed Realtor and property manager.

FAMILY
I moved to the Carson Valley with family in 1992 and graduated from Douglas High School in 1994. I attended Western Nevada College and Western Governors University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
I am passionate about the continual process of learning and equally enjoy sharing that knowledge with those around me. I strongly believe that what you know is only as good as your application of that knowledge and that the real value is found when that information is shared and fostered in a team environment.

Married to my husband Ed for 24 years, and proud to have raised our four boys in this valley we call home. In my free time, I enjoy camping, soaking in sunsets, listening to good music or reading a new book, traveling to new places and any opportunity to be with friends and family.

LEADERSHIP
Throughout my years with the Recorder’s Office, I have served as lead project manager and department liaison over many technology-related projects, including the conversion and implementation of updated recording software, redaction, digitization and indexing of historic land and marriage records, and the recently launched Recording Notification Service.
I also serve as the department’s website administrator. One of my passions is recognizing opportunities to implement greater operational efficiencies and utilizing the strengths and interests within our team to do so.
Implementing current technology within our office has provided many avenues for that; however, it is also vital to have clear, concise, and streamlined procedures that provide clear direction for staff and transparency for the public.
I believe our office has done an excellent job at obtaining these objectives and look forward to the continuing growth opportunities ahead.
